Oakdale Creative LLC was founded by a dilettante inventor named Mike Filonczuk. Mike has several US patents and many inventions in the development stage. Mike worked in the movie industry for 28 years in the technical areas of special effects and set construction, etc. As a technical estimator, he would have to pre-design many complex effects to determine cost effectiveness and feasibility. Now Mike prefers to develop his own designs and bring them to market successfully!
Mike has a BA in mathematics from UCLA and has trained with many of the top designers in Hollywood to round out his realm of knowledge. Nothing is impossible...... just be persistent!
Oakdale Creative has an excellent design team and production group ready to tackle the impossible!
-
What type of batteries do I use? The Super-Hose uses 4 AA batteries
-
How long will the batteries last? The batteries will last the entire season or up to one year. We reccommend they be changed every 6 months for maxium performance!
-
How does the Super-Hose work? The precision ball valve at the faucet is controlled by a gear driven motor that can turn the ball valve minute increments allowing precise flow control.
-
How are the control buttons at the end of the hose in contact with the valve at the faucet? Although the Super-Hose patent covers radio control, testing has proven wired connection running through the hose is most effective.
-
Will I be electrocuted by these wires in the hose? The voltage is 3 volts DC which is never a hazard!
-
Wont the wires in the hose break when I flex the hose? Thousands of bends on the Super-Hose has never led to a wire failure. The hose protects the wires.
-
Won't the wires carrode when in the water? The wires are insulated and completely protected from water incursion.
-
How strong is the Super-Hose nozzle? Super Strong!! You can drive a car over the nozzle with no damage.
-
Will the Super hose work underwater? The nozzle control switch is completely water proof.
-
What do you mean when you say "The hose is never under bursting pressure?" Since the Super Hose shuts off at the faucet, not at the nozzle, the hose will never burst!
-
How long does it take the water to flow from the valve to the nozzle? If the Super Hose is dry, it will take a couple of seconds to flow out the end. It is worth the wait! You control the flow precisely up or down. If the Super-Hose has recently been used, the response to an input from the control button is instantaneous.
-
Do I need to put my finger on the hose end so it doesnt dig a hole in my garden? No, the standard pattern from the hose is a 60 degree conical flow at higher flow rates. It doesn't dig holes!
-
How do I concentrate flow to spray down my driveway? Add a standard concentrator nozzle to direct power spray.
-
How do I know when my Super-Hose is full on or off? The Super Hose control buttons cycle off at the limits of full on and full off so there is no mistaking when you reach these points.
-
Will rain ruin my Super Hose? The Super Hose valve is O ring sealed. As long as you follow instructions for inserting the batteries the Super Hose will resist water. The super Hose valve is NOT totally water proof ie do not submerge it!
-
Will my Super Hose freeze ok? As with all water related tools, take it in when a freeze is coming. The small amount of water between the ball valve and the un insulated exposed house pipes may freeze and be damaged.
-
What other products will be available for the Super Hose? The Super Hose reel as well as other attachments will be available soon. Different lenghts will also eventually become available, but not for a while until the Super Hose is well established.
-
Can I lengthen my own Super Hose? Your warranty will be voided if the hose is cut.
-
How do I remove the Super Hose? Turn off the faucet and press the up button to release the pressure on the valve and the hose will easily unscrew.
-
Can I use the Super Hose to pull my four wheeler out of the mud? No, the Super Hose is not THAT strong!
